corporation affiliated with NARSAD and located in Southern California
that
showcases museum-quality art by talented artists whose lives share or
have shared the common bond of mental illness. All proceeds flow
to causes supporting the mentally ill, especially scientific research.
The mission of NARSAD Artworks is to raise funds for local projects, for
state and local advocacy and for research through NARSAD; to promote
public education and destigmatization of mental illness; to provide
self-esteem and income for artists who suffer from mental illness; and
to employ the mentally ill where feasible.

represents the combined interests of all
those who have a brain disorder or disability. The Coalition's
Campaign for the Brain promotes public awareness of the need for
emotional, social, governmental, and research support for these
individuals through the visibility of the Silver Ribbon. The
Coalition emphasizes that increasing public awareness will result in
improved treatments, eventual cures, and decreased stigma for those with
brain disorders and disabilities. The Coalition Headquarters is
located at the NARSAD
Artworks
office in Brea, California, which is also where Silver Ribbon products
are sold and distributed.
